Awesome gem in Flagler Beach. Adorable cafe, great ambiance, nice staff, tasty food (from pastries to a great selection of sandwiches and salads), and drinks. It's perfect for stopping by for a coffee and pastry and use their internet, or to grab lunch (especially if you're looking for a place with a healthy lunch selection, though I would recommend the pastries too). They even have wine and I think music on certain nights. I think anyone could find something there that they like.

Delicious reasonably priced coffee! And the ocean front views can't be beat. A must when I visit Flagler.

A neat place! Great cappuccino. Wonderful view of the ocean....even if it was a rainy, windy day. Definitely will be back next time we go through here.

Found on Yelp while passing through. Great locally owned caring establishment. Out of the fray a bit, friendly, good food and cute cozy atmosphere.

I took a look at the menu, sighed, then said to the friendly, smiling face at the counter, "I can't have dairy or wheat, so it's hard." She went right to work trying to figure it out. "So...the Meatless Wonder, without the cheese, and with our homemade gluten-free bread...?" Homemade gluten-free bread???? Wha....??? Who the heck has That?? Um, ...Yes? THEN, as if that wasn't enough of a "Top o' the mornin' to ya!" from the angels in heaven above, I ask for mayo (which has eggs, but no dairy (eggs are actually poultry)), and she tells me they have Veganaise!! Oh, now this is just too much. I've hit the non-dairy, wheat-free jackpot with this place. Almond milk for my coffee, please (a given at this point), and I'm golden. She delivers my sandwich with a smile, the homemade bread is totally delicious, I'm right now looking at the sparkling ocean across the street, and some cool 80's music is playing in the background. This place is a keeper, I tell you, a Keeper!

Oh sweet little Beanery, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways: 1. You are the cutest, quaintest, most colorful cozy little spot on Flagler Beach to get my java fix going. 2. The attentiveness of the family taking care of all our coffee/food/smoothie needs goes above and beyond; always friendly, always smiling and eager to show you just how great the folk of Flagler Beach are. 3. The coffee, of course! They have tons of options here and are willing to make your caffeine fix for you any way you like. Almond milk, double shot, iced coffee with a hint of vanilla? Done! 4. GREEN SMOOTHIE! Yes yes YES! Get it. Slurp it. Thank me later. 5. Delicious, fresh food that is simple but never boring. You can taste the care and time put in to your meal here. I love coming here every time I visit Flagler Beach. Thank you Beach House Beanery for being so wonderfully awesome!

My family stopped in and was surprised at the poor food selection and table was dirty. We will not be back!

Much in the same way that George W. doesn't care about black people, Florida doesn't care about coffee. There are probably a handful of places in the whole state where you can get exceptional coffee. Volta, in Gainesville is one, and possibly Bold Bean's new cafe in the Riverside 'hood up in JAX (I've not been yet). That's all I know about. It seems that if you want an expertly pulled double ristretto, you are going to have to drive for it. But espresso is hard. If $tarbucks® can't even get it right, how do you expect the moms and the pops to do it? I've given up on espresso down here, but sometimes you can find a not-so-bad cup of drip. Now, I'm not talking about 4 min. pour overs or chemex for two. That's not even on the radar down here. I'm also not talking about the soft boring cup you get at DD or Waffle House. Not that I mind that stuff, it's just not the real deal. It's like going to Taco Bell. Yes, they look like tacos and they taste good, but they're made of wood pulp. They're not even in the same league as Tia Juanita's (or whatever). So back to the not-so-bad cup. I'm actually sitting here writing this drinking a very good cup. It's a light roast from New Guinea. It's mild and sweet but with some very nice things going on (maybe cocoa and tamarind) . The character hasn't been burned out of it, and it seemed to be very well (ok maybe a little under) extracted. BeachHouse Beanery is a very charming coffeehouse/cafe in Flagler Beach. They have coffee (duh), breakfast, lunch, etc. Their wifi is super fast. I'll spend an hour VPN'd to work and actually get shit done. I almost want to offer them $$ to let me sit there for 4 hours 3 times a week. I'm going crazy in this fucking house.

What an amazing find! This adorable, colorful coffee shop and cafe is right across from the beach. You can feel the sea breeze while you eat. The sandwiches are simple but fresh and tasty. The coffee is divine. They also host book signings! If you are in the area, stay at the Topaz Motel next door and enjoy this sweet little gem of a place. :-)

Amazing drinks! Iced coffee ice cubes are made with coffee so it doesn't water down your drink!!!! Very impressed. Adorable shop.

Passed by this place on our bikes a couple of times.... just wasn't sure if it was more than a coffee shop....didn't want the usual fare of blueberry muffins. But to our good fortune---ALL the other breakfast spots in Flagler Beach that actually have signs up saying they serve breakfast were closed on Tuesday. Finally it was like "at this point I just want a coffee and I'll even eat a muffin". And it was so much more than that. Delish "eggamuffin" type breakfast sandwiches, can get them on a fresh soft bagle instead. Have quiche, yogurt and pastries---all fresh for breakfast. Full menu of sandwiches and salads for lunch. Smoothies to take the bite out a hot day. Quaint old house, owners live upstairs, and it is clearly their passion to connect with their customers and provide good delicious value. Ask them about how they chose Flagler Beach to retire to. They even have a "dog approved" back porch for owners to enjoy their meal with their favorite four legged friend.

This is a really cute local coffee house just a block off A1A- so don't miss it! The beach-esque house has a picnic table out front and cozy interior. You can smell the coffee from outside...aahhhh. I sought it out after bookmarking coffee shops along my coastal route while on a solo bicycle trip. I got my much needed caffeine pick me up, a toasted everything bagel, and a little TLC conversation which was appreciated. It got lonely out there biking on the road all day. The iced coffee was delicious and even had coffee ice cubes- nice touch! Their paninis and homemade muffins looked really yummy. Breakfast sandwiches served all day- yes! The whole interior is tastefully decorated with a beachy theme and restrooms have about a dozen nice smelling lotions. It seemed like a family run operation. Great coffee, sweet people, and warm fuzzy feeling upon my departure. Will def be back when in the area next!

While gallivanting around the north coast of Florida, I happened upon what appeared to be an unassuming neighborhood coffee house. But opening the doors to BeachHouse Beanery is like opening the door to the sun - bright colors wash this place in happiness, wafting aromas of coffee, spices and cakes fill your lungs, the friendly greetings of coffee girls beckoning you to the front register. I am told this is a new location for them, if that is true, they certainly chose a wonderful spot. It is right across from the boardwalk, and with a view of the sandy beach below. While you cannot see the ocean too well from inside the café, you won't miss it much with the bright, inviting interior. I left telling my better half that I would love to decorate our house like this, inciting some rather unnecessary eye-rolling on his part. Think bright yellows, oranges, pinks, purples, sea foam greens and blues married with mismatching chairs and comfy wicker seats, and you will start to conjure up images of BeachHouse Beanery. The drinks are also phenomenal - I ordered a chai tea, which was absolutely the best chai I have had in my life. I will be dreaming of their chai, cursing the four hours' drive between my house and it. I tasted a bit of Fernando's regular latte, as well as the banana shake he devoured after (I can't say anything, I had three chai teas!) Everything was utterly delicious. I also ordered their "Meatless Marvel", which is an English muffin with egg, tomato and cheese, served with a small fruit salad. Delicious. Other menu highlights are their freshly baked vegan cakes, we took a bit of their vegan banana bread home. They also have soysage available, for someone craving a heartier breakfast. And for your omnivorous friends, they have lots of meat options, as well. I'm sad that my stomach wasn't able to fit in one of Pam's Green Monster smoothies (fresh spinach, banana, mango, almond milk and flax seed), something I still regret. I will just have to try it next time! What I found most comforting about BeachHouse Beanery was the low-key vibe, the friendly (and gorgeous!) coffee girls, and that it is truly a "mom and pop" place. Their website has the entire story on how Carol and Jeff, husband and wife, opened BeachHouse Beanery in 2008. If you are in Flagler Beach, FL, you definitely need to check them out. BeachHouse Beanery is the ideal location for a lazy breakfast by the sea.

Fantastic coffee! Will be going back for sandwiches very soon. Update: Sandwich was flavorful but a little light on the portions. Thai peanut cole slaw was great.

The Breakfast Quesadilla is the Bomb! And the coffee is great, nice local place with a great view of the beach. Dog friendly and great service.

We selected this place because they offered gluten-free bread for my wife. This brightly colored beach joint had great breakfast sandwiches, and as the other reviews will tell you, fabulous coffee. My wife ordered the decaf, then went back for a refill- and she doesn't even really like coffee. The owners were helpful and accommodating. We were also surprised at how quickly they prepared our food. This was a great choice and we would definitely go there again if we re-visit the flagler beach area.

Been reading the other reviews. Let me correct some errors. The Beanery does have a view of the ocean, but no boardwalk across the road. Not far down the road, Java Joint is open on Tuesdays on A1a. There are also a couple of places open on Moody. Enjoyed the smiling, friendly help, until one of them looked over my shoulder at what I was watching on my computer and criticized me. I was at the back of the shop. Was watching a film clip from my daughter of her friends enjoying Mardi Gras. That really turned me off to this place. If you are so gauche as to look over someone's shoulder at their private computer info, keep your mouth shut if you don't like what you see. To be clear, you had to walk around behind me at the very back of the shop and look over my shoulder to see what I was looking at. Your coffees decent but pricey. I used to enjoy their pastries, even if the quality was uneven. Might've going there for breakfast regularly, but their eggs suck. I think it will depend on your life experience if you really like this place or not..

Visiting family in the area and we decided to have breakfast by the beach one morning. I checked out yelp and this place didn't disappoint. The food was wonderful, obviously made in house, and a great start to the day. They get the fifth star for having a basket at toys that my 3 year-old could play with once he was done and the grown ups were not.

Nice bit of local flavor. Live music the evening I went, in the Jimmy Buffet style. The coffee and frappes are good. Also serves a variety of other refreshments including beer. Indoor and outdoor seating.

It was a gloomy doomy day and so I went next door to the Beanery. The two young ladies working earlier this week were delightful. The restaurant is cute and you can sit at a counter and look at the ocean. Peaceful. The coffee drink I ordered was fine. I also ordered a chicken salad sandwich. I am sorry to say it was very disappointing. Aside from the fact there wasn't that much salad in the bread it didn't have any flavor. Really bland. I didn't taste any crunch like walnuts, apples or celery. You had your choice of a side and I chose chips. I figured I would get a bag of chips or just some on the side. Instead what it came was somewhat stale tortilla chips (not sure how that works with chicken salad sandwich) and then they laced on top of the chips some sort of ranch dressing with lime or something like that. VERY odd. Just made no sense. This restaurant has a great location. I would love to revamp the menu. I would suggest a few really great sandwiches and sides, good coffees and some baked goods and they would be really good. From what I observed it looked like people came in who were "regulars" or knew the two young ladies working there. That may be what saves this place is location and creating a draw with the staff and meeting place for people. I wish this place best of luck in its new location. I hope they do well. However, I won't be going back though unless they revamp their offerings. I would rather jump in the car and go to the Mexican restaurant a few blocks away for lunch.

We were driving up A1A on our way back to Jacksonville, and I spotted this placed (that I've passed a million times before) on the left and immediately did a U-turn. I just wanted a cup of joe for the road! BeachHouse Beanery is cute place, small, but service was super friendly. They have food as well, but we just got some coffee this trip. The coffee was great. This is going to be put into the rotation when I go to visit my mom in Ormond Beach.

Wonderful service, great food, perfect spot right on the water. Our dogs got to hangout with us outside, they even brought them a water dish. Great experience here.

Great little coffee shop at the beach. Right across from the beach makes for great views while you enjoy a beverage or sandwich. We even got some of their appetizer baskets to go so we could have a picnic in our hotel room. Their creamsicle smoothie is great. They even have an area on the patio just for folks with dogs, with water bowls provided.

The BeachHouse Beanery is just so freaking adorable. The coffee is on time and the customer service is impeccable. The owner is so awesome and has chatted it up with me on each visit here, on two separate trips. Since I am not the serious Bean-head that my traveling companion Tashi is, in my most recent visit, I opted for the Green Monster smoothie - and OH MY! It was simply wonderful!! Fresh fruit in a smoothie in Flagler Beach?!? Finally!! I no longer will have to search in all the wrong places in Flagler for a smoothie. The smoothie was so yummy and green and giant, I gulped it all down in about 5 minutes. Which was pretty funny since my step-mum and Tashi were not even halfway through their yummy looking coffees. The owner did inform us on this trip that she was planning on relocating soon, so I'm sure that on my next trip this location will have moved. I know that the charm and hilarious coffee humor posted throughout the Beanery will continue on. Such a cute little spot and I wish them the best of luck with the move.

Sweet breakfast spot! Nice coffee and really great quiche while sitting at a colorful picnic table looking out over the ocean. Extra-friendly service, too. Nope, no Star-bucks coffee at the BeachHouse. No Denny's Dollar Menu, either. Just a really friendly local breakfast and lunch spot with a fantastic view. Love it.

The ambiance is perfect for a beachside café! The employees are super friendly and so welcoming and patient (necessary for when my boys order their meals). The blueberry and chocolate muffins (two separate flavors) are fantastic and were gone within minutes gobbled up by my husband, my boys, and me. Pam's Green Monster is also a delicious drink that I don't feel guilty about chugging down. Our actual food orders, ranging from bagels with salmon to breakfast quesadillas, and breakfast quiche are just right. My son exclaimed instantly, "This tastes good!" Flavor bursts!

Stopped in for brunch. Ordered a latte, mocha, oj, smoothie, and a couple breakfast sandwiches for my family. The OJ was super cheap tasting. Isn't Florida known for they're oranges?? The latte/mocha tasted weak and flavorless. The sandwiches were very bland and meh. My daughter didn't like her smoothie and she loves smoothies. Overall it was a big fail with the food. But the service was friendly, it had a great view, cute location. I think if they just put a bit more effort into their menu, they could be great.

ORDER EGG SANDWICH. VERY GOOD. Water views. Great...COUNTER LADY EXTREMELY.. Unfriendly. Not even a cordial hello. ... She had a bad attitude.. I went out my way to find that place coming from NYC. I shouldn't have bothered.. Lots of other friendly places along the A1A STRIP. DONT BOTHER GOING!!
